D&M DEVELOPMENTS is a long gestating project from CEO’s Dana Takenaka and Melissa Blaskovich.
Residing in Texas for more than a decade, both women are familiar with what it takes to run and operate a successful entrepreneurial endeavor. Melissa is currently in the beauty industry and Dana is in real estate. Both women realized along the way that these worlds weren’t leaning on each other like they should be, in order to maximize the customer experience. At that moment D&M Developments was born.
Dana and Melissa noticed that there were a multitude of common problems that people faced when planning their weddings and events.
First and most common, when you look to book a wedding somewhere the bride is required to bring in her own beauty team, caterers, decor team and alcohol. Secondly, when you rent a hotel for you and your friends to utilize during that event, usually the biggest struggle is having to leave your lovely hotel to hit the nearest grocery store, typically in an area you don’t know, to buy food or drinks that you will need for your stay.
As a solution to these problems and many others a company was crafted with the explicit goal to provide solutions to all of the common consumer problems in one location. Therefore, D&M Developments is a one-stop-shop for weddings, events, lodging, beauty and hospitality. They integrate all aspects in-house, which bring your vision to life with ease. This allows you to plan the perfect event completely stress-free, and their first-class customer service says, “Let us take that off your plate”.
Eventually, D&M Developments will be equipped with an event space (weddings, corporate, etc), a beauty salon, a cafe, event planning and a large home to stay in, relax in or get ready in, while you’re attending your event. At the outset of this company, their main focus will be to obtain the acreage that is needed and the home. Then from there, Dana and Melissa will develop the event space, and the cafe and beauty salon to complete the vision. The company will allow the cafe and the beauty salon to be open to the public as well, this way they can do their part to boost the local economy. The founders of D&M Developments are firm believers that you reap what you sow. One of their biggest missions is to be able to give back to their communities and make it better in a variety of ways. The way that they plan to do this is by giving their time, experience, money and resources back into the community around them down the line, once the company becomes profitable.
